Yesterday, I recieved the figure I bought from Taobao. But as soon as I recieved it, I found that it covered with some unknown dirty. I printed screen and sent it to the shop assistant. He was surprised to see it too.

He said, it should be robbed during the express travelling. But this kind of dirty is not like pen's ink. It is very hard to clean. For PVC, you cannot use acid or alcohol to clean it because you will probably damage it. The shop assistant said it could be cleaned by hot water. Then I prepared a bowl of boiled water and dismissed the figure.

After immersed for a while, I cleaned the dirty parts one by one. I robbed on the dirty parts and the dirty was disappeared little by little.

Before the water became cooler, I had already cleaned it. Then I picked up all the parts and finished it.

By the way. If the dirty you see is only dust, just put it in the water for a while and pick up it.

Christie, you will probably damaged it if you use that kind of liquid to clean PVC figures.

所以我后面标了慎用.用洗洁精水泡吧.至少这个我试过.泡了一个多星期都没事.

漆层完好无损...本来是想洗掉自己上的...结果不但没掉更清楚了...(可能是山寨东西用的漆有关)

If there is only a layer of dust covered on it, just put it in the hot water. Then after you take out it, you should dry it.
Where to put it? You needn't make a frame for it. Just put it in a shelf and close the window. If you have many figures, you'd better buy a shelf for them and if you have ability to make one, it could be better.

P.S. I learnt how to clean and store the figures from Lasty. She ran a magic store years ago.

As I know, PVC could be performance under 70℃ continuously. Oh well, that's cable sheath.
Lasty told me that too. She always put figures into hot water because sometimes it is hard to insert a part into another part.
